Brownies 11th A
The 11th A Brownies meet on a Monday evening in the church Sports Hall between 6 – 7.30 pm
The girls are aged between 7 -10 when, if they wish, can move to the Guide company on their 10th birthday.
The group at present have 24 girls, having recently had 4 new Rainbows join their pack.
The Brownies have four ‘sixes’ – Elves, Pixies, Kelpies and Gnomes
The girls have an extremely busy and fun filled evening including organised games / singing / group work and Badge work
The new girls work on the booklet ‘Becoming a Brownie’ before taking their promise.
The Brownies are all keen and eager to work on a variety of topics and interests from their ‘Brownie Badge Book’ which can result in the presentation of a new interest badge.
The pack is organising a Sponsored Fitness Challenge in February to raise pack funds for future events.
Each girl at present contributes £1.50 per week.
The census fee at present is £31 per brownie, £29 of which is paid by the family.
